It was excitement for residents of the lake side town of Rubavu as they turned up in droves at the district stadium to watch the last roadshow of Primus Guma Guma Super Star 5 (PGGSS5) ahead of the grand finale set for August 15.

The resort town of Rubavu was upbeat as the stadium filled up even before the emcees Tino and Anita Pendo could step on stage to start off the day.

Active group perform on stage.

After their usual routine of engaging the crowd, the MCs introduced the judges and the band to the crowd before they brought on artistes, one by one, to prove if they deserve the money.

Dream Boys were the first to get on stage, escorted by their entourage of dancers and immediately stirred up the enthusiastic crowd. The duo performed Uzahahe Uronke and No One Like me before leaving the stage for Eric Senderi ‘International Hit’.

This time he did not do any stunts as he focused on dancing and singing. Senderi performed Jalousie and Nsomya Ho to a divided crowd, with one side booing him and the other appreciating him.

Knowless came on next, accompanied by her dancers Intayoberana. She did Follow you and Baramushaka to which the crowd sang along.

It was a repeat of the Kigali roadshow for rapper Bulldogg who once again caused pandemonium when he got on the stage.

Oda Paccy.

The rapper has proved to be a force to recokon with and indeed he did prove that as he performed Nk'umusaza and Cinema.

"I came here for the money, I'm competing against my counterparts, but I am a star because of you,” a confident Bulldogg told the crowd.

Rapper Oda Paccy didn't disappoint either. Clad in an orange and white outfit with a leafy bow tie she did Biteye Ubwoba and Love Ya Weekend.

Paccy also proved that as the season nears the end, she has mastered the art of performing before huge crowds.

Jules Sentore impressed with Ndayoboza and Ngera which has always left the crowds in a reflective mood. He was accompanied by his troupe of dancers, who have had the challenge of combining the energy of modern music with that of the graceful traditional Intore style, but entertains none the less.

On came Bruce Melodie who thanked the crowd in Rubavu where he emerged third overall last year.
