Brief Background

The University of Rwanda-College of Education (UR-CE) is one of the six colleges of the University of Rwanda, cre-ated after the merger of all public higher learning institutions in Rwanda in 2013.

UR-CE is the apex institution in teacher education with academic, assessment and certification of all teachers at all levels from primary to secondary school level.

Currently, the College enrolls an average of 3,000 students on a yearly basis in all programs

Today marks the day that we celebrate the fruits of your hard work. Your achievements are an endorsement that we all have partaken our different roles, duties and responsibilities as is expected of us. However, as we exhale and celebrate your graduation, we must not lose sight of the onerous tasks ahead of us.
