Imbuto Foundation, last weekend, celebrated a decade of girls academic excellence, with calls for more support to the education of girls.

The event, held at Petit Stade in Remera, Kigali, attracted more than 2000 girls of the 4200 schoolgirls that benefited from the organisation over the last 10 years.

It was presided over by First Lady Jeannette Kagame, the founder and president of Imbuto Foundation.

The main event, held on Sunday, was preceded by a football match on Saturday that sought to raise awareness about girls education.
