Kenyan side Sofapaka is set to sign the Rayon Sports duo of captain Fuadi Ndayisenga and Aphrodis ‘Kanombe’ Hategekimana on two-year deals ahead of the second round that kicks off on July 2.

The duo was released by Rayon Sports after their contracts ran out last month and travelled, yesterday to Nairobi to complete the switch. They will join former Atraco coach Sam Timbe, now in charge of Sofapaka.

"We have agreed everything. We shall sign two-year contracts and I am happy. Playing outside the country is something good for my career,” said Hategekimana.

Ndayisenga will be the third player to sign for Sofapaka after defender Eric Masika and Josephat Oyugi.

Hategekimana and Ndayisenga join other former Rayon Sports’ players who are now playing in the Kenyan league like Abouba Sibomana and Karim Nizigiyimana, who signed for Gor Mahia in January this year.

Sofapaka are happy to sign the two players from Rayon Sports.
