Kamonyi FC are keen to register victory against Nyagatare in their final national women football league match of the season Saturday afternoon at Remera-rukoma grounds.

Kamonyi have already secured the second spot before today’s result but according to head coach Emmanuel Habiyambere, it won’t stop him from fielding the usual first line-up as they seek to record a 12th league win.

Habiyambere revealed that the only absence is Rwanda international Alice Niyoyita who is nursing a left-knee injury for the last three months. The first-leg encounter between the two sides ended a goalless draw in Nyagatare.

Elsewhere, fourth-placed Les Lionnes host Bugesera hoping to win and leapfrog Inyemera into third place. Rambura will be up against Freedom of Gakenke while Muhanga-based Youvia take on Golden Generation on Sunday.

AS Kigali who inked a seventh consecutive league title record with 50 points from 18 matches (16 wins, 2 draws), were supposed to play Atletico of Huye but the later pulled out of the league.
