Taxis on the Remera-Rwandex route are really boring

Dear editor,
I have a big complaint against the drivers of passenger taxis that depart from the ‘Kwarubangura’ stage and take the Remera-Rwandex route.

For a while now (over the past month), instead of taking passengers straight to their destination of Remera, they say they are going to Kabeza or Kanombe Airport.

No one wants to admit they are heading to Remera, yet that is where they head.

That is not all, they charge a higher fee of 300 whether someone is stopping at Remera or not.

However, the irony of the whole matter is that by the time the taxi is at Remera, it is already empty.

So it is seems like the driver and his conductor are involved in an evil scheme of reaping passengers who are stranded at Kwarubangura stage.

I am calling upon all the responsible transport authorities to take into consideration the plight of us the passengers who are exploited by these thieving taxi drivers and conductors.

What I know is that Rwandans are known for their integrity and if nothing is done to stop this bad habit of cheating, these actions will tarnish the good image of Rwandans.
