The Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education (INATEK) volleyball club will take on league table leaders Rayon Sports tomorrow in Ngoma hoping to win and go above the latter on the table standings.

Both Rayon Sports and INATEK have 29 points but the latter has played one more game (11). A win will grant INATEK a three-point advantage.

The match which was supposed to be played at Amahoro Indoor Stadium has been shifted to Ngoma after INATEK management insisted that their fans in Ngoma want to watch their side on their home ground.

"We need to attract many people to watch our home league matches and to watch their team. That is why we want our games to be played at home,” explained INATEK coach Dominic Ntawangundi Sesonga.

Sesonga is keen on winning this game, he said, "We need to win this game and continue to fight for the title. We are going to face the table leaders, but we will give our best to win the game.”

INATEK has lost only one game this season, against Rayon Sports 3-1 while Rayon Sports are unbeaten in the volleyball league so far.

If Fidele Nyirimana’s side manage to win this encounter, they will go three points clear with one game in hand against Lycee de Nyanza while APR are in third position with 24 points.

Rayon Sports will be looking for their first league title having won the Genocide Memorial Tournament last year while INATEK who have featured in the league for the past six years will also be looking for their first title having won the Genocide Memorial Tournament and Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club tournament in 2013.
