Inyemera 0-1 KamonyiAS Kigali 4-0 FreedomRambura 3-0 Golden Generation

Callixte Iradukunda’s 65th minute goal was the difference in a tight contest between Kamonyi football club and Inyemera in the national women football league yesterday.

Emmanuel Habiyambere’s Kamonyi side, which didn’t have the services of injured striker Alice Kalimba, missed many goal scoring opportunities before left-back Irakunda was left unmarked to tap in a spillover from a shot that the Inyemera goalkeeper failed to catch.

Elsewhere, defending champions AS Kigali thrashed Freedom FC 4-0 while Rambura thumped Golden Generation.

As it stands, six-time champions AS Kigali top the table with 43 points, eleven points ahead of Les Lionnes and Kamonyi FC. Despite the defeat to Kamonyi, Inyemera are fourth with 28 points.
