Private sector firms should engage their employees more in nation-building during the on-going Genocide commemoration period in order to harness the reconciliation process, Julius Ndunga, the head miller at grain milling firm Bakhresa, has said.

Ndunga was speaking after a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial site in Gisozi by the firm’s 70 employees on Saturday to pay their respects to the over one million people that lost their lives during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

He said the miller empowers and encourages employees and their immediate families to have a pro-active role in national development.
