Twagirayezu nets hat-trick as Sorwathe rout Intare

Striker Olsme Twagirayezu scored a hat-trick while his striking partner Beniot Kamuhanga added another to hand Sorwathe FC a 4-0 win over Intare in a Pool B match of the second division championship.

Jean Jacques Muteba’s Sorwathe side are jointly top of the Pool B table alongside Bugesera and Rwamagana, the three sides are all tied on 28 points apiece. Former topflight league side Muhanga who beat Kirehe 4-1 are three points adrift in fourth place.

In an interview, Muteba told Times Sport that all they are fighting for this season is earning a promotion to topflight division for the 2015/2016 season and he believes his players have got potential and talent for the task.

"Twagirayezu was in clinical form on Saturday, he was pivotal in this victory. We are doing everything we can to stay top of table, our target is earning promotion to topflight league and we will fight as hard as possible for that cause,” Muteba said.

Elsewhere in pool B, on-from Rwamagana hammered Interforce 3-0 while Noah Nsaziyinka’s Bugesera FC survived Miroplast challenge with a 1-0 victory.

In pool A, hopefuls La Jeunesse sank Gitikinyoni 6-0, while Hope academy beat Etoile de l’Est 2-0.
