Kiyovu    vs            Gicumbi

Sunrise   vs            Espoir

Gicumbi will be looking to consolidate their fourth position on the National Football League table when they face SC Kiyovu this afternoon at Mumena stadium.

Emmanuel Ruremesha’s side has defied all odds to rub shoulders with the traditional big sides and has attributed Gicumbi’s success to team work and determination.

Ahead of today’s encounter, Ruremesha said, "We want to win all our remaining fixtures and that includes the game against Kiyovu. It will not be easy but our target is to win.”

Gicumbi currently has 33 points from 21 games and will be looking to finish as high as possible on the log as they are currently three points behind Police FC who are hosting Musanze at the Kicukiro stadium.

In the other game of the day, Mukura hosts bottom-placed Isonga in a bid to further keep a distance from the relegation zone.

Geoffrey Okoko’s side currently has 24 points, seven ahead of 13th placed Etincelles that host Marines tomorrow in the Rubavu derby at the Tam Tam stadium.

The Burundian tactician who is on track to help Mukura survive relegation is optimistic that his side has what it takes to overcome the youthful side that has only managed one win this season, drawing eight times and losing 13 times enroute to amassing just 13 points from 22 games.

Elsewhere, Sunrise will be hoping to defeat the Rusizi-based Espoir in Rwamagana to achieve their season target of finishing in the bottom half of the table while Andre Cassa Mbungo’s side are eyeing victory against Musanze to maintain third place on the table standings.
