This letter is with reference to your article, "Translate political will into tangible results – Kagame” (The New Times, March 27).

It is wonderful to read that the Central Corridor railway has been launched and the flagging off ceremony for the line was performed by none other than President Paul Kagame in Dar es Salaam.

The availability of good logistical support is the backbone of import - export trade for any country.

Rwanda, as a land locked country, has, in the past, faced good infrastructure as a major challenge. However, with rapid developments and improvements in infrastructure, the "New Rwanda” will continue to be one of the preferred destinations for trade and investments and will also continue to be a country which presents the happiest people to the world.
