Editor,

This letter is with reference to the article in yesterday’s edition of The New Times, titled "Never touch anything with half of your heart, Ange Kagame tells youth

How very right, First Daughter Ange Kagame is, in her interview with Devex.

Her views on youth development and empowerment give her fellow youth food for thought.Meanwhile, AIESEC, a youth organisation, present in around seventy countries of the world, including Rwanda, hosts every year an International Youth Congress.

The congress, which draws over one thousand delegates, will this year be held in India, while next year, Poland will host the event.

What better city than Kigali, with a soon-to-be-completed state-of-the-art convention centre to host AIESEC come 2017?

An AIESEC International Conference in Rwanda would could well showcase the country’s focus on youth empowerment with over 70 per cent of the country’s population comprising of youth, as so articulately stated by Ange.

Such an event, which would consist of over 1,000 "leaders of tomorrow”, would keep many millions in this great nation smiling!
