The African charter on the rights and welfare of a child says that: "Children who have been affected in wars should be helped to overcome the bad effects of the wars.”

Today we are going to talk about some thing which at least every child would love to hear-eating!

Eating good and delicious food is among the things children love so much. In fact I too love to eat a well cooked meal and my best dish is well fried Irish potatoes, rice and chicken.

Thank God that you and I have access to good food but, have you ever thought of those children from poor families who get to eat only one meal once a day.

Those children in war zones who go to sleep on empty stomachs?

However, these are not the only children living in these conditions. In some countries, so many children around the world have no food to eat. We should always keep in our minds the suffering of these children.

You can help these children through donating things that you have gone over. Things like your old clothes, shoes and toys. Doing this teaches you to share the little you have with others.

Children in war zones too have rights and needs like other children. They need to be protected from hunger and anything that can take away their lives.
