Sulfo league

Indorwa  v  Right Guards (8.30am)

Right Guards are desperate to get their Utexrwa Cup hopes back on track when they take on Indorwa in the third game of the competition this morning at Kicukiro oval.

Guards came in touching distance of a win last Sunday after restricting Young Tigers to 143. However, they couldn’t hold onto their wickets as they crumbled to 84 all out against the Sulfo league champions.

But new captain Henry Zzizinga is optimistic about his team’s chances today.

"We don’t really have a big problem with our bowling so it’s all down to how well we bat. I’m sure that if we bat well on Sunday, we shall win,” he said. Guards, Challengers and Indorwa have zero points.

Young Tigers who also gained a bonus bowling point against Right Guards thanks to Eric Dusabemungu top the league table with five points while Kigali Cricket Club (KCC) are second with four points after their victory over Challengers.
