Police FC Vs Kiyovu SC, Kigali Pele Stadium

Police FC midfielder Aboubakar Djibrine Akuki has warned his team that Kiyovu Sports will not come easy when the pair lock horns in the Primus National League at Kigali Pele Stadium on Friday.

Three points are at stake ahead of the crunch encounter between the two Kigali-based clubs and Djibrine is confident his side will cruise to victory.

"Kiyovu is a great club, they have finished second in two consecutive seasons so you cannot underrate them," he told Times Sport

"It will be a tough encounter but we are not relenting, we are not going to joke, we have prepared so well. The target is to win this game."

Djibrine, who is playing his first season at Police, further reiterated that the players have come to quickly adapt to each other's style of play despite the fact that many of them are new at the club.

"It is a new adventure, new players, and we also have some experienced players in our side. We are used to each other now and we have adapted and understood each other's style of play," he said.

"With the calibre of players at our disposal, we will hand Kiyovu a defeat on Friday," he added.

Police FC are fifth on the league table with 10 points from six games they have played whereas Kiyovu are fourth with 12 points from seven games.
