Bugesera FC thrashed Intare 6-0 in a pool B league match in the national second division league played on Saturday in Bugesera District.

Noah Nsaziyinka’s side got a third consecutive victory as pool B archrivals and former topflight league side Esperance lost 1-0 to Interforce.

Bugesera’s goals came through Djihad Rucogoza and Abedi Christophe Biramahire, who netted a brace each while David Nzabanita and Benjamin added one apiece.

The win leaves Bugesera in second place with 15 points, two adrift of leaders Sorwathe, who defeated Kacyiru-based Unity FC 1-0.

In Pool A, table leaders La Jeunesse recovered from mid-week 1-0 loss to ASPOR to claim a 3-2 victory over Etoile de l’Est. La Jeunesse lead pool A log with 18 points from seven matches.
