Rwanda’s representative in Big Brother Africa season 9, Frank Rukundo, aka Frankie Joe, is organising a big reunion to be held at Kigali Serena Hotel, on March 27.

During the same event, Frankie will launch his 13-track album dubbed, Alive to Love, in a show that will be graced by Burundi’s Kidum.

"I am doing my best to bring all the Big Brother Africa Hotshots here on the day of my album launch and I have already confirmed their attendance,” says Frankie.

Those who have confirmed are, Esther Namuddu (Uganda), Elioth Owosebo, aka Permithias (Namibia), Akintayo John Faniran, aka Tayo (Nigeria), Sabina Stadler and Melvin Alusa (Kenya).

Frankie said that the aim for the reunion is to help the local Big Brother Africa fans meet and interact with the Hotshots.

"I want people to know us not as BBA Housemates, but to interact with us all and discover the other part of us which is normal and fun,” said Frankie.

Born and raised in Uganda, Frankie Joe is a singer, model and actor with a degree in Financial Management from University Of Rwanda (UR).

"I am an artist following his passion. Although I may not have the money right now, I am very optimistic that art is the way for me,” he said.

Nicknamed ‘the gentleman” while he was in the Big Brother House, Frankie spent five weeks on the continent’s biggest reality show.

"In the Big Brother House, I was hated by almost everyone in the House, but of course it was not personal—it was a competition. But we are all friends,” he said and added, "There are lots of things ahead of me to do but for now, I am concentrating on the reunion and my album launch.”

After the show, Frankie will return to Canada to embark on a career in acting.
