Pepiniere eye win away to Heroes FC

Second division football championship side Pepiniere FC is keen on registering their fourth consecutive league win when they play away to Heroes FC this afternoon at Ndera playground in a Pool A encounter.

Second division football championship side Pepiniere FC is keen on registering their fourth consecutive league win when they play away to Heroes FC this afternoon at Ndera playground in a Pool A encounter.

On-form Pepiniere recently defeated Hope FC 2-0 and overcame Nyagatare 1-0 a week ago according to head coach Cox Muleyi, his injury-free squad is fully ready for the challenge ahead.

The former Rayon Sports FC Kenyan-born defender said, "We will travel to Heroes targeting three points. We have to be wise tomorrow (today). Heroes can challenge us if we do not focus well.”

Elsewhere in Pool A, table leaders La Jeunesse who rested over the weekend are back into action today and will be up against Kicukiro-based ASPOR. Gitikinyoni host SEC Academy while Nyagatare take on Vision Jeunesse and Hope face Vision FC. Etoile de l’Est and Gasabo square-off in Ngoma district.

In Pool B, Bugesera will play away to Sorwathe while Unity hosts Rwamagana in Ruyenzi. Golden Generation takes on Muhanga in Rugende while Miroplast play Kirehe at Mirongo plastic industries playgrounds.

Former topflight league side Esperance will be up against Intare at Kimisagara while struggling Akagera host Interforce at Rwinkwavu playgrounds.
