Parents should engage children on sex education

Editor, I like the point made in this letter; we have to face the truth and educate our daughters. But also life does not end with pregnancy-our girls should continue to go to school and run their activities. Let us face it: Students are having sex, and they should be aware of their responsibilities and know that being pregnant comes with responsibility.

Editor,

I like the point made in this letter; we have to face the truth and educate our daughters. But also life does not end with pregnancy—our girls should continue to go to school and run their activities. Let us face it: Students are having sex, and they should be aware of their responsibilities and know that being pregnant comes with responsibility.

I agree with some part of what you said. It is true that children are being driven by western cultures so much. If parents chose to mitigate the risk by your proposed way, it would mean shying away of their responsibilities.

They would be protecting their self-esteem and killing a new generation. I think education would work perfectly to help children have future goals, by then they will be aware of the consequences of every choice they make.
