What is your favourite word?

Yesu we! (Oh! Jesus!)

The person you love most?

My late dad. I love family members too.

The worst job you have ever done?

Casual laborer at La Galette during senior six vacation.

When were you closest to death?

It was in 1999. I suffered severe malaria.

What do you consider you greatest achievement?

I qualified for the 2000 world swimming competitions in Sydney. I was thrilled.

What keeps your awake at night?

If I had a bad day and nobody is there to console me.

The most important lesson life has taught you?

I have moved widely and learnt that people must be treated equally.

Your dream…

Becoming a role model for Rwandan women.

My greatest inspiration…

My late father. He was my teacher and learnt a lot from him. I’m also inspired by King Solomon, in the Bible. He was such a great King.

A book that changed me……

Mandela’s biography’s book. Other books about African patriotic leaders appeal to me too.

My favourite musician……

I enjoy listening to Bob Marley’s music and Lucky Dube. I love Miss Shanel’s songs.

The best invitation ever……

In 2004, I received an invitation from MIJSPOC with other local celebrities for a dinner. It was great.

Your plans in five years to come……

I’m planning to start a swimming club.

What upsets you most?

Malice and wickedness.

What’s your most expensive thing you have bought recently?

A pair of full swimsuit. It’s expensive. I bought about US 800.

Person you would invite to your wedding?

Ministry for Sports in Burundi.  He helped me a lot to develop my career.

Your greatest disappointment?

Death of my father. You know what; I was planning to buy him a big gift.

If you had a chance to meet God, what would you tell Him?

I would request God to allow me join Him.
