Go Arsenal!

When I recall all the crap that was being said about Arsenal towards the end of the last season and shortly after Thierry Henry’s departure, I cannot help laughing at this. There were whispers that Arsenal was destined for doom if it failed to sign more experienced players.

In fact, some went a little further to say that kids do not win games let alone take trophies.

But since the inception of the 2007/8 English Premier League, these sceptics have been forced to swallow their words.

The so-called kids have had the most impressive start in the premiership. In five games, they have won four and drawn one.

In the champions’ league, while Liverpool and Chelsea struggled against their opponents, Arsenal was firing from all cylinders.

Now, everyone is saying that the kids have grown up. To be honest, I’m just wondering how someone grows in two-three months.
