Dear Doriane Kundwa, I would like to congratulate you for being crowned Miss Rwanda 2015. Your name fits well with your new role. You really deserved victory. Your external elegance is at par with your smartness upstairs. You’re the right ambassador for the youths and the country. Your responses to the panel questions were spot on.
I take this opportunity to thank the judges for choosing the right person in an unbiased manner. I hope and pray that you get all the necessary support (financial and moral) to implement your proposed projects.
One advice to you Miss Rwanda; as an experienced project planner, I would like to suggest that in order for you to avoid problems similar to those the outgoing Miss Rwanda (Colombe Akiwacu) faced in her term in office, make a list of your planned projects now, including their planned budget(s), and start a fundraising drive straight away.
Don’t wait for weeks or months to pass before you start. Don’t celebrate much about winning the contest; rather celebrate later when you deliver the promises. Hit the nail while it’s still hot. Start now, and as the saying goes, "an early bird catches the worm.”
Rwandans and friends of Rwanda, organisations of all sorts—private, public, families and individuals will be willing to give you financial and moral support if you put your heart, your head and your hands towards doing good causes.
Lead from the front; you have a lot of people who admire everything about you. Organise now and don’t wait for tomorrow.
As one of your supporters, I have faith that you can achieve unprecedented projects.
There are financial resources both in Rwanda and outside Rwanda; tap into them in order to implement your good projects. Friends and well-wishers will help if you call upon them; don’t work alone.
I once again wish you all the best during your term of office.
