Rayon Sports have been handed a huge injury boost as star forward Joackiam Ojera resumes training as he runs against the clock to be fit to play Saturday’s Primus National League encounter against Sunrise FC at the Kigali Pele Stadium.

The Ugandan forward has been on the sidelines through an injury he sustained during Rayon’s 2-1 victory over Etoile de l'Est on October 11.

He missed the team’s trip to Ubworoherane Stadium on Sunday and his absence was hugely felt as the Blues fell to a shock 1-0 defeat to Musanze FC.

He has been training alone recently and the club says he is now fully-fit to start training with the rest of the team.

Right back Ally Serumogo who also missed Musanze FC tie through a groin injury is also back to fully training where he took part in the team’s training session at Nzove training ground on Tuesday, October 17.

The club also confirmed that centre back Aimable Nsabimana will miss Sunrise game as he continues his recovery from his fracture and will return to training next week.
