Valentine’s Day couldn’t come at a better time for fashionistas as all roads lead to Aloha (next to Caiman) in Kibagabaga this Saturday for a fashion extravaganza dubbed, ‘Cat Walk and a Cosmo’.

"The choice of having the show on Valentine’s Day helps us celebrate love and give Rwandans a unique fashion experience,’’ Arnold Sseezi , the organiser of Cat Walk and Cosmo, said.

The fashion exhibition that is happening for the first time will have a number of local designers showcasing their designs at display stands as the event goes on.

"We believe this event will help break barriers of creativity and promote cooperation and idea sharing between fashion designers in the region,” added Sseezi

In May, Ssezi plans to take the same show to Nairobi.

Admission to the event is Rwf15,000 for couples and Rwf10,000 for unaccompanied fashion-goers. Gates open at 6pm. Cocktail will be on discount all night and entertainment will be provided by a top DJ from Uganda.
