Although they didn’t win any award at HiPipo awards held in Uganda last week, Urban Boyz will not come back empty handed. Our snoops tell us that the group is in serious talks with Juliana Kanyomozi and Desire Luzinda for a collabo.

They continue to tell us that the talks are going well; however, the surprise is that they are already recording a song with the Goodlyf Crew, Radio and Weasel. Urban Boyz were nominees in the category of Best Song of the Year for Tayali, a collabo they did with Nigerian star Iyanya.

According to our snoops, Urban Boyz started recording the song early this week and they’ll be back as soon as the recording is done. They also performed at the awards ceremony and at the monthly Rwanda Night event.

According to our snoops, Sudi is a bitter man after rapper Lil’ G didn’t keep his promise when they were redoing Sudi’s hit song Gakonik’abakobwa. Of recent, artistes have been redoing hit songs from yesteryears and Lil’ G also decided to follow suit.

After consulting with Sudi, our snoops tell us that Sudi agreed to work with him but he would write the song for him since he didn’t want him to mess it up. Sudi wrote the lyrics but was shocked when the song came out and Lil G had changed the version. Our scouts continue to tell us that Sudi was eager to help upcoming musicians but since they can’t be trusted, he is no longer interested.

Gisa leaves Kina music, joins All Star Music Crew

Last month, we wrote about how musician Gisa Cy’iganzo was on trial at the famed Kina music label but before the deal could be sealed; our snoops tell us that he was shown the exit since he failed to agree to the terms of the studio.

According to our snoops, Gisa was approached at a time when he was looking for a music label to work with, he went on trial at the studio but news reaching our desk is that his way of work was not accepted by the team at the studio and he was let go.

However, our snoops have confirmed that he was immediately signed to the newly established music group All Star Music Crew which was formed by Urban Boyz’ Nizzo and includes audio producer Piano and video producer Gilbert aka The Benjamins.

Claude Kabengera and Antoinette join Radio 10

In a bid to reclaim back its spot as Rwanda’s number 1 radio station, Radio 10 has recruited seasoned and popular radio presenters Claude Kabengera and Antoinette to boost their ratings.

According to our snoops, Radio 10 decided to revamp their radio management by appointing famous sports journalist Jean De Dieu Bagirishyaaka JadoCastar as the programmes manager and his first mission was to recruit Claude Kabengera, and Antoinette Niyongira who were both at Isango Star.

Kabengera who signed a long term agreement is known in the entertainment industry as the host of Sunday Night Live, a show that analyses the entertainment industry in Rwanda. Our snoops are yet to identify which time slots will be taken up by Kabengera.

However, our snoops confirmed that Antoinette will host three different shows, including an early morning show from 5am-7am, lunch hour show from 1pm-3pm and an entertainment show dubbed Ten Superstar at night.

Pacson fights with producer First Boy

Rapper and TV host on TV 10 Pacson exchanged blows with producer First Boy of Unlimited Records over the weekend. According to our snoops, Pacson went to the studio at 1am when producer First Boy was recording for upcoming musician Ombeni to ask for a beat to use for a song he plans to release.

On getting there, Pacson who was visibly high was told to wait since Ombeni was still recording but he wouldn’t hear of it. After trading insults with the producer, a fight ensued and they had to be separated by people who were in the studio.

Our snoops tell us that Pacson who had a bottle of alcohol was first denied entry into the studio with alcohol, couldn’t control his anger. Our snoops confirm to us that Pacson is known to fight when he’s under the influence of alcohol.

Rapper Diplomate joins Yego TV

Rapper Diplomate became very popular in the music industry when his songs featured mostly historical events. However, he took time off in 2013 when he was in Kenya and according to our snoops;Diplomate had gone to pursue a course in journalism.

He came back last year, released one song and that was it. The latest our snoops have is that he’s now fully employed at Yego TV as a presenter and his show will be broadcast under the title ‘Rap 4 Change’. Diplomate is the proud winner of seven Salax music awards.
