APR, Police faceoff in anti-HIV tourney final

APR yesterday defeated AS Kigali 2-0 to set up an epic final against Police in a two-day anti-HIV football tournament sponsored by Society for Family Health Rwanda.

APR yesterday defeated AS Kigali 2-0 to set up an epic final against Police in a two-day anti-HIV football tournament sponsored by Society for Family Health Rwanda.

The army side’s goals were scored by striker Michel Ndahinduka and center back Emery Bayisenge in either half of the match.

In the other game, Rayon Sport who are yet to win in nine games lost 5-6 to Police on penalties after a 1-1 draw.Rayon Sports takes on AS Kigali in the earlier kickoff for the right to claim a third place finish.

The winner of the tournament will walk away with Rwf3 million while the runners-up gets Rwf2 million and the third placed team will receive Rwf1m.

The tournament is part of SFH’s broader efforts in the fight against HIV/Aids, especially with view to making sure that all Rwandans have access to information and products they need to make wise decisions and lead healthy lives.
