Gasigwa will be laid to rest today, postmortem results not yet out

RWANDA’S NUMBER one tennis player Jean Claude Gasigwa will be buried today in Rusororo cemetery at 11:00am.

Gasigwa collapsed and died on Thursday morning while jogging at Cercle Sportif sports complex.

By press time yesterday, postmortem results had not yet been released by doctors at the Kacyiru Police Hospital. It is not yet clear what caused the death of the 31-year-old who seemed to be in high spirits on Thursday morning before dying suddenly.

"As Cercle Sportif, the club he has been playing for in his entire life together with the national tennis federation, we have organized everything for the burial and everything is set for tomorrow (today) to bid farewell to our brother,” Arsène Nsabe, Cercle Sportif General Manager said.
