First of all, Happy New Year! 2014 was indeed an eventful year for Rwandan women, and if that is anything to go by, it is only the beginning as women are only getting stronger and more confident to take on anything they set their minds to. At the start of a fresh year, we take a look at some of the expectations women have for 2015.

This week, the newly elected Executive Secretary of the National Women Council, Jacqueline Kamanzi, talks about her new role, challenges that come with it and why she doesn’t promote feminism as a way to gender equality.

For those days when you feel like your hand is a little "naked”, throw on a ring, or better still, take a risk and throw on some more.
