DJ Apeman who invented his signature Afropolitan mix, which is a fusion of UK and American street classics, is set to take centre stage tomorrow at the ROC NYE party.

With a lineup of exciting parties and concerts, party animals in town have no excuse to be bored as Kigali ushers in the New Year. Get out your best clothes and put on your dancing shoes because it’s going to be a wild night out in town.

Five famous deejays will light up Kigali Serena Hotel stage tonight in an event dubbed, ROC NYE party, as curtains fall on 2014.

DJs Toxxyk, VDJ Danches, Copain and Brek as well as Uganda’s DJ Apeman are household names across the region, and they will add the perfect musical accompaniment to what promises to be a dramatic evening.

The party, organised by Rock Event and sponsored by Positive production, No Limit and different media houses, is surely set to give partygoers a taste of a crazy night.

CEO of Rock Event Bruce Twagira, the brains behind the party, said, "We believe in making this end of year a memorable one to Rwandans, especially partygoers. We believe in the happiness of our brothers and sisters, that’s why we want to give the best to you in terms of organisation, music, and many other surprises, including gifts.”

"The New Year’s Eve and New Year will be a night to remember, we have a number of experienced DJs and it will be nothing but the best. We will also have raffles and people will have a chance to win different prizes, courtesy of Serena Hotel and Sawa Citi supermarket,” he said.

The party starts 9p.m till dawn with the entrance fee at Rwf10, 000 and there will be a 50 per cent promotional discount on drinks.

ROC NYE party is an annual event.
