Diana Teta

Teta lands deal with Swedish producers

Well, it seems like Diana Teta’s luck is taking her to higher levels after she sealed a deal with professional music producers based in Sweden. According to our sources, Teta is already making plans to go to Sweden before Christmas and return late January after recording several songs with the producers. Our scouts continue to tell us that Teta is also planning a concert in Belgium before coming back.

Producer Junior gets hooked

It seems like things are finally getting back into place for acclaimed music producer, Junior Multisystem. According to our snoops, producer Junior, who faced several problems at the beginning of the year, is now smiling. Early this year, police raided his place over drug related charges. Before the dust could settle, he was thrown out of Touch Records and went broke for quite some time. However, in September, he was called back to Touch Records after the owner realised that he was losing musicians to other studios.

The latest from our snoops is that he is a happy man after ‘princess charming’ came into his life. Although we are yet to establish the identity of the girl, our snoops say that they have been seen together at various events and parties.

Bull Dogg
Fireman

Tuff Gangz on the brink of falling apart

Tuff Gangz group that is made of rappers, Jay Polly, Fireman, Green P, Bull Dogg, among others might be falling apart after rappers Fireman and Bull Dogg were left out during Jay Polly’s album launch.

According to our scouts, things in the camp are not going well and the rappers are not happy that Jay Polly decided to use other musicians at his launch yet they were with him ever since he started his music career. Our sources continue to tell us that Fireman has been having misunderstandings with Jay Polly and it didn’t come as a surprise that he was not invited. Before the launch date, rapper Fireman went on radio live and blasted Jay Polly that he is not a good rapper but rather luck is on his side.

As for Bulldogg, our sources say that he was left out because he doesn’t belong to the same record label as Jay Polly. Jay Polly’s record company, Touch Records was the main sponsor of the show and since Bulldogg belongs to Infinity Records, he was left uninvited.

Khizz

Khizz ‘Eats Big’ at Incredible Records

Word coming through from our scouts is that musician KizitoHategekimana aka Khizz was recently promoted and put in charge of operations at Incredible Records.

The studio that is famous for handling musicians such as Young Grace, Danny Nanone and dynamic singing and dancing duo Active, is restructuring after Active and Ciney left the studio last year.

Khizz has so far recorded more than 30 songs from the studio and 11 videos since he joined. Our snoops continue to tell us that Khizz signed a long term contract with the studio and he is currently scouting for new talent. Some of the artistes he is trying to sign include Christopher, who is on his way out of Kina Music and Bruce Melody whose future at Super Level studios seems to be over.

Knowless

Urban Boys and Knowless nominated for Hipipo Awards

At long last, it looks like Rwandan music is making it beyond our borders. The singing trio of Urban Boyz and singer Knowless have been nominated in the up-coming celebrated Hipipo Music Awards organised in Kampala, Uganda.

According to our scouts based in Uganda, Urban Boyz and Knowless are up against some of East Africa’s finest musicians such as Diamond Platnumz, Dimpoz (Tanzania), Jaguar, Sauti Soul (Kenya) and Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool.

Knowless got the nod for her song Baramushaka while Urban Boyz were nominated for Tayali, featuring Nigerian music star, Iyanya.
