It was a gala which brought together many airline travel agents on a Friday evening, as the world’s oldest airline KLM Royal Dutch Airlines marked its 95th anniversary.

The mood was jovial from the moment the guests started arriving for the dinner party at the Hotel des Mille Collines in Kigali.

Good food, beautiful music, and the atmosphere was fantastic! (Timothy Kisambira)

"The weekend has started, enjoy yourselves to the limit,” announced a smartly dressed Pauline Kariuki, the firm’s country manager as the party kicked off.

With drinks and food in abundance throughout the evening, guests had enough reason to celebrate.

Once the dance floor was opened, guests formed dancing circles with Kariuki joining in.

Although there was no artiste on stage, the DJ was terrific.  Guests never had to ask for anything, he took care of everything musical.
