Rayon Sports captain Faud Ndayisenga and midfielder James Tubane have given coach Andy Mfutila a major boost after resuming training ahead of their league game against AS Kigali on Sunday.

Ndayisenga suffered an ankle injury during the blues’1-0 win over Espoir in the national football league three weeks ago while Tubane has not featured in any game since the season begun due to an eye problem.

Rayon Sports Club doctor Charles Mugemana told this paper yesterday that both players are fit to play if they don’t suffer any injury setbacks.

Mfutila, who is yet to win since joining the blues last month faces a stern test when he takes on an in-form AS Kigali side that won the Ombudsman Cup on Sunday.

Both teams have 18 points after nine league games but Rayon Sports is 2nd in the league because of their superior goal difference.  Champions APR lead the league log with 20 points.
