I would like to commend the Rwanda Environment Care (REC) in conjunction with the Kigali City Council for launching the eco-toilet.

Measures like these, which protect and help conserve the environment, should be encouraged in Rwanda. There cannot be a limit to the things that can be done to protect the environment.

Ranging from innovations in technology where bio-gas fuel is produced to cut down on the air pollution to even eco- toilets. Surely, man has the ability to create and be a useful creature instead of turning a destructive one.

Rwanda should not relax in the fight to protect its beautiful and amazing environment. In this way nature will be preserved and hence paving way for the tourism industry to develop.
