On Saturdayevening, all roads led to Hill Top hotel in Remera, where music fans turned up in big numbers to witness the inaugural season of Rwanda’s got talent.

Excited revelers cheered as the "wannabe” stars took to the floor to showcase their vocal and dance abilities.

The auditions attracted both solo artistes and groups.

The show didn’t start on time as revelers trickled in slowly but later in the afternoon the show picked momentum. The majority of the participants were High school students.

The Saturday auditions attracted 25 participants, who  included Swag Nation, Louis Bertrand Ishima, Julius Chita, Individual dancers, Transformer’s crew, Yvan Aubin Hirwa and Ben Miguel Migabo, among others.

Hudson Manzi, the organiser of Rwanda’s Got Talent, said: "The show was interesting and people turned up to support it so I am confident that at the quarter finals auditions we shall have a lot of people attending the events.”

Registration fee for the auditions is Rwf2000 for a solo act and, Rwf1000 each for a group. You can register at Hilltop Hotel or UTC in Town. The exercise, which started November 22, will conclude on December 20.
