Right guard batsman Clinton Rubagumya is keen on winning the Most Valuable player award in the ongoing UA Exchange and Xpress money 50-overs tournament when they take on Indorwa on Sunday at the Kicukiro cricket oval.

Rubagumya has been in dazzling form since the beginning of the tournament in September making 91 runs through batting in 4 innings with the highest score of 40 runs.

In bowling alone, he has taken 8 wickets in 23.3 overs with an economy of 4.61 a thing no player has made this season.

Rubagumya believes that he can carry on with that good performance to the finals and see off Indorwa on Sunday.

"I want to be the best player of the tournament,” he said adding that he is working hard towards achieving that award.

Rubagumya is an all round U-19 Rwandan Cricket player, he was the highest run scorer among Rwandan players in the ICC Africa U-19 boys division 2 tournament held this year in August in Zambia with 146 runs in 5 innings and he was the third highest scorer in the whole tournament.
