Speaking to The New Times, Moses Mbonimana, the Music Director said "some might see us as a young generation, but the choir has been serving God for over 25 years. We started as a group of youth in our young age at Muhima Seventh-Day-Adventist Church. The group was initially composed of boys under the guidance of the Adventist Youth (AY) group."

Mbonimana added that later on, the group started to welcome girls who wanted to join. "Due to our young age, boys were nicknamed "Le Mouton" and girls were known as "Les Etoiles." He said

Established in 1996, the choir started to serve God mainly in Kigali. He added " in late 1990s, our journey began to take shape and we evolved into a new identity, becoming "La Lune”.

According to Mbonimana the year 2004 marked a significant turning point as their commitment and dedication paved the way for a remarkable transformation.

In the same year, the choir was named " Send Us God choir", a name that reflects their mission to be sent by God and serve Him in all they do.

The 27- year-old choir has so far achieved a lot, in terms of discipleship and evangelism. Mbonimana revealed that they have completed various projects, including four albums: &039;Uri Uwera' in 2009, 'Imbaraga z'Amaboko Ye' in 2014, 'Nyobora Mwami' in 2017, and the recent one, 'Nzabana Nawe.' "We've also released a virtual EP named 'Tunes of Gratitude." he noted.

Commenting on the upcoming concert, the music director said that the headliner of the show, will be "Send Us God Choir", and no other choir or artiste to feature in the concert.

He added " our concert dedicates enough time to our choir to present all we have for you. We invite everyone to come prepared to listen to wonderful songs. We've put our hearts and souls into these songs, and we look forward to singing and praising God with you."

"The Melodies of Our Faith Concert" will enable the attendees to listen to many of our songs. We are grateful to God for His mercy and strength in our music ministry. Mbonimana noted.
