On Sunday, Valens Ndayisenga won the Sixth edition of Tour du Rwanda to become the first local rider to win one of the most difficult cycling competitions on the continent. Homeboys Jean Bosco Nsengimana and Joseph Biziyaremye finished in second and fourth positions respectively while Team Rwanda (Karisimbi) one of the three teams representing Rwanda won in the team category. Below is the 8-day 911.6km race in pictures.
There were no accidents during the 8 day race as motorists gave the cyclists right of way.
