Prince, like he calls himself, already has two songs — Uwonkwiye and Narahemutse — to his name, but promises to release yet another hit Zanirindi.

Born 19 years ago in Gisenyi to the late Emilly Uzamureba and Esperance Dusengeyezu , Prince lost his Father when he was still a young child. And because his mother was poor, Dusengeyezu was forced to start singing in primary six in order to make ends meet. After his first single, Dusengeyezu spent some time without releasing another song because he was busy reading books. This prompted his friends to call him a one-hit wonder.

However as time went on, Prince released another powerful rap song that endeared him to many. But he was not carried away by his popularity sticking to his books. It is no wonder he was promoted to Senior Six at Essa Nyarugunga after a great performance last term.

"Prince is talented academically, in music and football. In fact he is currently the captain of the school football team,” says Frank Shyaka, the head teacher of Essa Nyarugunga.

Prince hopes to become a big artiste in future and own a studio.
