Last weekend was an events galore as a gospel crusade kicked off in the Eastern Province.

Renowned local gospel artistes Liliane Kabaganza and Theogene Uwiringiyimana, alias Bosebabireba, performed to massive crowds in Rukomo, during the inauguration of the week-long crusade.

The crusade is organised by Pastor Isaie Uwihirwe Baho of Agape Evangelical Pentecostal Church and, it will feature gospel stars Rose Muhando (Tanzania), Evangelist Jennifer Wilde (USA) and Pastor Russell Abort (New Zealand).

Former Hollywood actress evangelist Jennifer Wilde arrives at Nyabiheke refugee camp in Rukomo.

Pastor Uwihirwe urged people to come in big numbers and witness the healing and salvation. Wilde said her aim of attending the crusade is to bring the voice of God to the people and she plans to visit orphanages and other disadvantaged communities to share the love of God.

The former Hollywood actress and model left behind a life of glamour to do charity missions and has been to India and Honduras for similar missions.
