In a time where fashion events in Kigali are limited compared to the past years, models always look forward to such opportunities to shine and brand themselves. The Stage Fashion Showcase casting was highly attended by over 300 models who registered and looking for a chance to be part of the fashion event. The fashion show had to select 35 models however the high number and potential of participants made them add five more models.

Organised by Rwandan top model Sandrine Mucyo under her creative company Ssanduina Ltd, the fashion showcase aims at discovering, promoting, and growing Africa's models and fashion designers on a worldwide level.

Sandrine Mucyo highlighted that the first edition of The Stage is a high-caliber fashion show masterpiece, well-coordinated to rank among the greatest in East Africa.

"As a model who traveled around the world participating at different stages I always wanted to contribute to our fashion industry and bring a big unique event to Rwanda that is here to stay. I initially took the decision after I had been to Europe visiting different agencies and from there, I decided to bring a unique project,” she said.

She pointed out that the event was highly organized with a focus on creativity differentiating from other fashion shows that are often held, adding that fashion enthusiasts should expect an amazing array of fashion and art at the event.

The Stage is a hub for models that is not only geared towards booking talent on a national level but also towards planning a fashion show. It will also bring together well-known creatives from around the globe for a networking, conversational, celebratory, and experiential fashion experience, but most importantly for developing skills.

Tickets to the fashion show are already on sale via MOMO code 702087 for Rwf120, 000 accompanied by champagne and dinner, Rwf50,000 with wine, Rwf 30,000 middle rows and Rwf10, 000. The gates will open at 6 pm.
