Celebrated Ugandan musician Michael Ross held a successful show on Saturday at the National University’s main auditorium, thrilling revellers who had waited for the show that was delayed for three hours. It has now become a culture, a detestable one at that, for musical shows to be delayed for one reason or another.

For the Michael Ross show, it was largely because the main auditorium was still empty by 9.00pm, the reason being the high cost of the entry ticket, which most could not afford.
Charging Frw3000 as entrance fee for students, is out of this world and organisers (4Real promotions) soon learnt this when it was already too late.

At 10.00pm that is when the unsettled audience heard from the MC ‘Uncle’ Austin, who added ‘salt to injury’ by bullying the crowd.

Time check 11.00pm and Skizzy of the group ‘Family squad’ appears on stage. It was really hard to fathom what the lanky lad was doing on stage. One thing for sure is that he was not himself; he must have puffed or had one-too many!

Anyone heard of Radio and Weasel? Yah these guys really have a budding musical talent in them. Famous for the hit song "Nakudata” the duo sent the crowd screaming as they called for more. They did not disappoint!

Time check 12.00pm and Michael Ross hit the stage. As characteristic of him, Michael displayed marvelling dancing skills on musical beats provided by non other than East Africa’s best, DJ Styles from the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

Michael exuded energy in his performances as he rolled out hits from his various albums. The crowning moment was when he sang his hit song "Yoyo”, a song that has taken Rwanda’s airwaves by storm. The crowd was now in frenzy and when it was done, they called for an ‘encore.’ It was a memorable two hour performance.
