There was low business at the bourse with only Bank of Kigali counter active.

Bank of Kigali counter closed at Rwf300, unchanged compared to Friday’s closing price. The trading session recorded a total turnover of Rwf30,000 from 100 shares traded in one deal. The Bralirwa counter was inactive and unchanged at Rwf374, same as Friday last week. No transactions were recorded on the KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarkets counters.

Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index was stable at 232.12 compared to the previous trading session as there was no change in stocks share price, yesterday’s market report indicates.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 41,500 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf300 and Rwf320 and an outstanding bid for 1000 shares at Rwf280. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 20,800 shares at between Rwf370 and Rwf411 and bids for 1000 shares at Rwf360. On KCB counter there was an outstanding bid for 100 shares at Rwf180 and no outstanding offers.

Uchumi received an outstanding offer of 6,000 shares at Rwf104 and no outstanding bids. On bond market, there was an outstanding bid for 500,000 at Rwf100 and an outstanding offer of 100,000 at Rwf102 from government bonds FXD 3/2014/5yrs.
