APR and Amavubi Stars goalkeeper Jean Claude Ndoli and his Mukura Victory Sports counterpart Regis Ingabire have undergone successful surgery in Algeria following injuries they picked up recently.

The two travelled to Algeria last week thanks to the partnership between Rwanda Football Federation (Ferwafa) and their Algerian counterparts. Ndoli and Ingabire were operated on by French specialists working for the Algerian Football Federation.

Speaking from Algeria, Ndoli said everything went well, "We are fine and we have been treated well.”

Ferwafa signed an agreement with the Algerian FA in January regarding treatment of Rwandan players with severe injuries. The pair is now getting the special treatment before returning home.

Other players who have benefited from the partnership include; Rayon Sports central defender Faustin Usengimana, APR midfielder Eric Nsabimana, AS Kigali’s Ibrahim Itangishaka and striker Farouk Ruhinda.
