Hip-hop singer Jay Polly has gone back to the drawing board, just a few months after winning the 2014 Primus Guma Guma Superstar singing competition. The rapper has just released his latest ‘Malaika’ video, a song from his ‘Ikosoro’ album.
Jay Polly, a man who needs no introduction in the local showbiz scene, said: "I decided to work on a video for my fans. The video was released on Wednesday night and I’m sure they’ll love it.”
The ‘Deux Fois Deux’ star added that ‘Malaika’ is a music-driven love story inspired by a young man who showed gratitude to a girl for helping him to get through his struggles.

"Most of Jay Polly’s videos were shot from exclusive locations but this particular one was shot from an ordinary setting. Most people love Zouk and Afrobeat so Jay Polly wanted to do something along that line for his fans, and I’m glad we achieved it,” said Junior.
