The National Swimming Federation has invited eight secondary schools to compete in a one day swimming competition slated for October 28th at Cercle Sportif de Kigali (CSK) in Rugunga.

Eight schools will take part in the tournament and they include: Ecole Française, Ecole Belge, Green Hills Academy, Riviera High School, Hope Kids Academy, Kigali International Christian School, New Vision and Well Spring Academy for boys and girls category.

Samuel Kinimba, the President of the swimming federation said that the best two swimmers in both the boys and girls categories will be chosen for further training so as to represent Rwanda in international events.

Other competitions planned for next year are scheduled for January, 25 at Muhazi Beach Hotel in Rwamagana District, while in Huye it will be the competition for the Piscine Swimmers at Hotel Credo.
