LOCAL FOOTBALL governing body Ferwafa has confirmed that all the 14 teams in the topflight division beat the October 7 deadline to submit their squads for the upcoming season, which begins on October 18.

League champions APR and their sister club Marines FC will have the biggest squads, 30 players apiece, while Police FC, Etincelles and newly promoted youthful side Isonga FC will have the smallest, 25 players each.

Mukura Victory Sports, Kiyovu Sports, Musanze FC and new league entrants Sunrise FC submitted 29 players each. Rayon Sports, AS Kigali, Amagaju FC submitted squads with 28 players apiece, while Espoir FC submitted 27 players and Gicumbi 26.

Next is for Ferwafa to verify the documents for all the players before the issuing licenses ahead of the start of the season next Saturday.

The issue of players with double identities is also expected to be concluded next week.
