Louis Nkurunziza was the first lucky person to enjoy Heineken’s new Cities Campaign with an exclusive experience of the City of Kigali with two of his friends.

The new campaign by Bralirwa, which targets Heineken consumers, saw Nkurunziza and his two friends of his choice on Friday enjoy a full experience of the capital in the company of a beautiful model, all chauffeured in a customised limousine.

The city tour was part of the global HeinekenCities Campaign which started on September 10 in over 20 affluent bars in Kigali.

Heineken lovers were awarded a coaster with stickers which consumers would peel to reveal instant prizes. Those with enough stickers to fill their boarding passes were entered into a live draw on Flash FM on September 29, and Nkurunziza emerged the winner.

The experience started with a limousine picking up Nkurunziza and co. at the Bralirwa Marketing Office for a drive off to Caiman Bar and Restaurant in Kibagabaga for a barbecue experience.

After a mouth-watering dinner, Nkurunziza and his entourage were taken to Century Cinema at Kigali City Tower for a 5D experience.  This was followed by a trip to the Roof Top for a photo shoot.

Finally, it was a drive to Papyrus Chill Zone for a bar experience which was crowned with a DJing experience as Nkurunziza took on the wheels of steel at Club Envy.

After capping a fun-filled evening, Nkurunziza said that as a regular drinker of Heineken, the city tour was a reward for his loyalty to the brand. "I am excited by the tour. My friends and I had fun and we are really thankful that we were given this kind of treat”.

"We really want our Man of the World (the Heineken Consumer) to appreciate their city. Kigali as a city has interesting features and the people should learn to appreciate that,” Mark Mugarura Nkera, the Heineken Brand Manager, said.

The campaign will run till June.
