AFTER BELGIAN Jean Francois Losciuto abandoned Rayon Sports for ASFA-Yennenga of Burkinafaso, the Nyanza-based club has started a search for a new head coach.

Losciuto has made it clear he won’t return to Rayon Sports due to what he called mismanagement of the club. He tendered in his resignation letter over the weekend.

The club president Théogene Ntampaka, told Times Sport yesterday, "Losciuto is not our coach anymore. He sent his official resignation letter over the weekend. We’re already in search for a new coach and we hope to have gotten one in a week’s time,”

Ntampaka also noted that the 42-year-old Losciuto owes the club over Rwf 5 million for breach of contract.

The Belgian-born technician Losciuto quit the club last week when he moved to Burkina Faso’s 13-time champions ASFA-Yennenga on a four-year contract, a deal which will keep him in Ouagadougou until 2018.

The former Togolese side, Anges FC de Notsè coach left Rayon just two months after signing a one-year contract.

During his two-month spell at the blues, Losciuto led the club to the quarter finals of Cecafa Kagame Cup 2014.

Former champions Rayon Sports will kick off the new campaign hosting Nyamagabe-based Amaguju FC on October 18 at Kigali regional stadium.
