Africa New Life Ministries, an evangelical organization was founded in 2001 by Pastor Mugisha Charles and his wife Florence Mugisha in partnership with Pastor Fred Katagwa, Specioza Mukazaire and Pastor Elisee Rugambarara.

Africa New Life Ministries aims at; Transforming lives and Communities through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Acts of Compassion.

The Ministry was founded when Pastor Mugisha and wife were still studying in the United States of America, arriving on their holidays in Rwanda where they visited members of family in Kayonza district and realized that people are not living complete happy lives especially children.

With a little capital of $250 they managed to start up a nursery school; the "New Life Christian Academy”, which  later evolved into a primary and secondary school of New Life Christian Academy.
